What you need to know about Carbon Tax and Carbon Credits

Speakers:
Mick Keogh, Executive Director, Australian Farm Institute

An independent organisation which was established to conduct research into public policy issues impacting on the Australian farm sector. The institute also promotes policy solutions that maximise the economic and social wellbeing of farmers. He has a good grasp of many of these issues and has agreed to come and share his knowledge at our November dinner.

The Agribusiness Yarra Valley Inc. works very closely with its constituents, being concerned to accurately represent their views. To this end a series of Dinner Forums have been conducted where those interested are invited to explore issues and discuss their concerns.

Dinners are held 4 times every year. Each dinner has a theme with a regional focus including topics such as Regional branding, Doing business with local government, Getting the balance right - Farming and the Environment and What makes the region unique.
For more information please contact Emma Amos on 5962 9423.

The feedback that is gathered at these dinners has been summarised and is placed here for your information. Click on the PDF for a specific dinner to access the feedback (Note: you will need Adobe Reader in order to open the PDF's).
